Player of the Week
The professional player that I picked this week is Lionel Messi from FC Barcelona. He is an undeniably prominent asset to the team and is one of the best players of his generation. Being known to imitate Diego Maradona, whether consciously or not, he has been named his "successor" and was even nicknamed "Messidona" by the Spanish press. He has won the 2009 Ballon d'Or and the 2010 FIFA Ballon d'Or and has broken several records throughout his career.
